You ARE allowed to post and promote your kickstarter project in this forum however it does have to comply with some rules:
- The project/product has to fit within one or more of the XNL Future Technologies Platform categories:
- Electronics
- 3D Printing or 3D Modeling
- Programming
- Or any of the other (main) topics on our forums
- Your product should be a real feasible product (as in it should be possible to make, NOT just some ‘dream’)
- Your product should already have a working prototype or at least a proof of concept!
- You are NOT allowed to post a fancy kickstarter with just ‘graphical illustrations’ with zero effort into an actual proof of concept (meaning that our users can have some confidence in it that your product will actually get delivered)
- Your kickstarter project/product has to have an active update activity/progress log/progress tracker etc so that our users can see that the product is actually ‘coming to realization’
- Obvious scams are obviously not allowed (duh!)
- You will edit the main topic/initial post when the kickstarter has ended and update it with the end-result. (And Yes: You are allowed to add a link to the webshop when it’s in full production/release)
- Do realize that we reserve the right to remove any topic/project from our forums if we deem that the project doesn’t fit our community, or for any other reason (which we do not have to disclose!)
- If you promote your kickstarter project here, then you should also reply to possible questions in regards to your project/product when forum members have questions about it.
- You will treat the forum members with respect and still obey the rules of the forum(s) when using this section for promotion
- You will not make an account ONLY to promote your kickstarter project and then ‘ditch the platform’ again. Such posts/topics will be closed or removed, and the accounts will most likely get (permanently) banned!
Yes, these are ‘quite some rules’, but I want to make sure that this topic (and my user database) doesn’t turn into a kickstarter/crowdfunding spam-fest.
We want to wish you the best of luck with your project 😊
