Terms and Conditons
I will keep the “Official Terms and Conditions page” quite simple. This however doesn’t mean that my/our website(s) and/or community doesn’t have terms and conditions. Due to the fact that the XNL Future Technologies Community consists out multiple topics and sub-platforms, it will be ‘near impossible’ to create just one ‘cover it all’ Terms and Conditions.
If I would make just “one covers it all’, then it would most likely be ‘to strong’ for one section, while not covering enough for other sections for example.
When using XNL Future Technologies Community Channels or pages on ‘sub platforms’
When using channels, pages or ‘sub-communities’ of the XNL Future Technologies Community on ‘external platforms’, including (but not limited to): YouTube, Patreon, Twitter, our forums etc, you should always comply with the terms and conditions of the ‘hosting platform’ itself, and we request you to also comply with our community guidelines on those sub-platforms.
When using our own website(s), projects, products, files etc.
When using our/my own website(s), projects, products, files (files hosted on external platforms included!) etc, you are required to agree to the following conditions, policy’s, terms and such:
- Our Privacy Policy
- Our General Disclaimer
- Our Dyslexia Disclaimer
- Our Community Guidelines
- Our Refund and Returns Policy
- Our Shipping Terms Page
Next to this it’s required that you read, accept and respect the license(s) provided for individual files, projects and/or products when using/downloading them.
Why so much sub-pages?
I do realize that it might look confusing that there are so many ‘sub-rules’ and pages explaining the rules, guidelines and policy’s, but has two reasons:
– The first reason is that I want to make (and keep) this platform as accessible to anyone as possible and that everyone can (and will) feel welcome.
– The second reason (which actually requires us to have so many ‘sub-rules’, and policy’s) is something you can thank the European and Dutch laws for. Due to lots of company’s which have been abusing visitor/user privacy for years (by collecting their/your data) and influencers whom (ab)used their channels to falsely advertise products without being openly honest about it and more, we now have laws which make it mandatory to comply with (sometimes over-the-top) privacy rules. Obviously we are grateful that it now (finally) is a thing that privacy is considered valuable on the internet (again). This however did result in all those cookie popups, policy pages which we are required to present to our users (you) and more of the alike.
And to ensure that we’re always presenting you the latest versions/information, I decided to put ‘links’ to the direct pages instead of ‘double-copy-pasting’ it here on yet another page.
I hope that everything is clear and understandable, if not, you can always just contact use either directly of through our forum.
