Extravaganza Series (E-Series)

Projects and products from The Extravaganza Series also known as E-Series with the ‘E Series Flamingo Logo’ are projects and products which are ‘a bit more luxurious’ than counterparts or ‘commonly used’ variations of such a projects and products.

An example of this would be that a ‘common USB to Serial adapter’ often only uses RX, TX, RTS and DTR, while our version would then for example include all serial pins: RX, TX, CTS, DTR, DCD, DSR and RI. But our ‘Extravaganza edition’ would then for example also include LED’s for each pin (to monitor/see traffic) and it would then also have a ‘build-in’ over-current/short-circuit protection. Hence the Extravaganza in the ‘series name’.

  • XNL F.U.T.S. – Full USB to TTL Serial Adapter

    The XNL F.U.T.S. is ‘our answer’ to a problem we personally had quite a few times: Finding a decent USB to Serial/UART board which either just works, and/or had more than just the RX, TX and RTS available.

    The XNL F.U.T.S. stands for Full USB to TTL Serial Adapter, and it basically is a serial adapter/board which gives you a full USB serial port including ALL serial pins including: RX, TX, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, and RI (and of course VCC and ground).

    The XNL F.U.T.S. uses the CH340G IC, of which the drivers can be downloaded here.
