Information

This is the original (non-modified) software used to sync the Palm PDA’s with your Windows PC.

This is version 6.2.2. which is also the same version I used in my video about restoring the Palm M500 (VIDEO LINK HERE!). There are however more versions available on the internet, both older and newer versions. For the newer versions I would recommend visiting PalmDB (basically the Palm Resource website these days), and for older versions would recommend visiting The Internet Archive here.

One of the reasons I’ve also decided to (re-)publish this software is because I’ve made a YouTube video about the Palm M500 and restoring one, and I also wanted to give the viewers of this video the opportunity to dive a bit more into these devices if they are interested in it, but also to provide an (additional) download source to the software if (new) owners of these Palms stumbled upon my video and wanted/needed the software or manuals for their own device.

Compatibility Warning
Please be aware that I don’t know and can’t guarantee ANY compatibility with modern Operating Systems, drivers or anything a like, and neither do I offer any support in getting this software to run. I use this software on my “Time Machine Laptop” and with the original operating system (and Palm devices) it was originally intended (and designed) for. On the PalmDB website there are however additional resources and information on how to get this software running on other/more modern systems. However I personally can’t confirm that these steps/solutions will work, simply because I haven’t tested/used them.

I (obviously) do not offer any support for this software (in ANY way), the Palm devices or any other possible downloads related to these devices, these downloads are just intended (as mentioned above) for archive purposes and/or to help you with some additional files and/or information.

IMPORTANT TIP: If you're planning to redistribute this project/product or if you are planning to use it for any commercial purpose (if the license permits these uses of course), then it is highly recommended that you 'copy-paste' this License and store it along with your download(s) for future reference.

The [hash] part represents the value which is generated by applying a specific mathematical formula to the username and password. This is to ensure that the input values are safe and no one can access this data using the cookies.
wordpress_test_cookie	session	This cookie is set by the website to test if it can actually set (any) cookies, this is necessary to ensure all other functionality like logging-in, storing whether you allow certain cookies or not etc. This cookie does not store any personal information.
wp_lang	session	This cookie is set by the website's framework by default so that it knows which language it should use. This cookie does not store any personal information
wp_woocommerce_session_	2 days	This cookie contains a unique code for each user so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each user.

(However IF Twitter indeed does what it says, the tracking part should be disabled due to the DNT (do not track) setting).

dnt	12 Months	This seem to be the Do-Not-Track / Do-Not-Taylor cookie, telling the widget not to track/taylor your content depending on our website/widget. Considering this cookie only appeared when we enabled the Privacy feature of the Twitter Widget.

personalization_id	13 months	This cookie is set due to Twitter integration and sharing capabilities for the social media.

_gads	13 months	This cookie is associated with the DoubleClick for Publishers service from Google. Its purpose is to do with the showing of adverts on the site, for which the owner may earn some revenue.

CONSENT	11 months	This cookie is placed by the youtube-nocookie.com domain, we suspect that it is used to tell the player that 'consent for cookies or user-tracking' is pending (and thus should not happen) because the data within this cookie says: "PENDING+162". However we unfortunately can't confirm this because there is almost no other website or information available about this cookie. And despite the fact that almost ANY website with "GDPR Compliance Tips" tells you to "just use the YouTube-nocookie feature" to be GDRP Compliant without having to ask user consent, we do not agree! Due to the simple fact that it does still place this cookie. And due to the fact that when enabling the "YouTube Privacy Enhanced feature" it gives a popup saying: "When you turn on privacy-enhanced mode, YouTube won't store information about visitors unless they play the video.", we just don't like this kind of 'sketchy behavior' and thus require you to allow such cookies and content before we will actually display it.
