Visual Basic 6 SP6 Runtimes (VB6)
These are the Visual Basic 6 SP6 runtimes which where required when installing (or running) applications developed with Visual Basic 6 on older operating systems.
Since we still have some (vintage) computers running operating systems like Windows 98 (SE), Windows 2000 and Windows XP and are sometimes still using projects needing these runtimes we decided to make them available for those legacy projects if uses needed them.
IMPORTANT NOTE
You do not need to install these runtimes from Windows Vista and up (including Windows 10!), because since Windows Vista these runtimes are integrated into the operating system!

As explained in the short description already, you would only need these runtimes if you are trying to run an application developed with Visual Basic 6 on an operating system older than Windows Vista.
Please do not attempt to install these runtimes on newer operating systems, it will have no use, and could potentially even do more harm than good.

XNL Future Technologies does not provide ANY support for installing or uninstalling these runtimes, they are provided as-is, just to ensure that our users are able to install or use legacy projects and/or products on older operating systems like Windows 95, Windows 98 (SE), Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP etc etc. If you are someone whom is still ‘tinkering’ with these older operating systems these days, then it might also be expected from you that you actually know what you are doing and how you would need to use these runtimes 😉
