XNL STAR-3(-MB) Bootloader Bin
This is our mirror of the XNL STAR-3 Bootloader bin file.
This bootloader can (also) be used for:
– XNL STAR-3 Boards
– XNL STAR-3-MB Boards
– STM32 Blue Pill boards
– Most other boards using an STM32F103C8
– Most other boards using an STM32F103CB
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is a backup mirror to ensure that you always have access to the version/bootloader which we recommend. Make sure to check the Information Tab to see if the original author has a more recent version!

Information
This is a mirror of one of the the bootloaders from rogerclakmelbourne’s Github page.
The bootloader we are using for all our STM32 based boards, projects, products and even for our ‘original Blue Pill Boards’ is the generic_boot20_pc13.bin. This bootloader is used for our XNL STAR-3, the Blue Pill’s we are using for our XNL STAR-3-MB and most (if not all) other STM32 based boards we’re using.
IMPORTANT:
We (XNL Future Technologies) did not developed this bootloader, nor do we claim any involvement in the development of them. Other than us recommending this bootloader, we don’t offer any support for this bootloader.
LED PIN NOTE: The PC13 in the bootloader filename means that this bootloader is ‘configured’ to have the onboard LED connected to pin PC13.
Software needed to flash this/the bootloader
To flash this bootloader to your XNL STAR-3 or any other STM32 based board over serial/UART, you will need the ST Flash Tool
Instructions
Unfortunately it is not possible to ‘just post’ “general instructions” here in regards to flashing the bootloader. This because it will depend on the board, MCU/Chip, the pinout of your board etc.
Any project, product or board of XNL Future Technologies which uses the STM32xxx MCU/Chip (and thus requires this bootloader tool/flasher) will have the instructions for flashing it’s bootloader in the datasheet and/or documentation for that project, product or board.
